About the project
In light of the continuous growth and increasing complexity in the supply chain, TRUMPF set itself the goal of working with REDPOINT to increase transparency and planning accuracy, improve the degree of automation and significantly reduce planning costs, not least against the backdrop of digitalization.
With the help of a benchmark for planning and controlling the supply chain, our consultants worked with the project team to identify the key levers for improvement and developed a long-term roadmap. On this basis, the first step was to implement automated planning from the sales forecast to the product-side and time-based disaggregation of the target figures through to the allocation of the flow lines.
