About the project
The flexible and reliable market supply is a decisive factor for success for Rosenberger. Rosenberger traditionally comes from the project business. In the past, effective central planning based on an APS system was established. In addition to project business, volume business also developed strongly in recent years. The application of the central push concept was no longer optimal for the new requirements and generated a high degree of coordination effort. With the support of REDPOINT, Rosenberger therefore optimized the interface between sales and production planning (Sales & Operations Planning) as a first step, and introduced a service class concept. As a result, a complete reorganization of the order processing process was carried out as part of a broad-based transformation project. Important elements included a hybrid planning and control concept for the supply chain, greater decentralization of planning and control tasks (“factories within the factory”), simple and transparent business processes, as well as
fast and modern intra- and extra logistics.
